Della is an international expert in the field of professional education and practice-based education. She is a leading researcher and scholar on professional judgment, professional artistry, clinical supervision and reflective practice, in health care, medicine and education. She has a Chair in Education in the School of Health Science at Swansea University, in Wales. Della generously offered to deliver two keynote addresses at CSUED. The first was titled: “Educational interactions – Dialogue as negotiating meaning in clinical education: making the space, developing the ideas” and the second was titled: “Fostering advanced practice in practice-based education”. In addition, Della gave a presentation at the pre-conference PEN workshop titled “Value added and values based: The key differences between ‘Quality’ and ‘quality’”, and provided the opportunity for participants to take part in a key-note conversation in a workshop.
